Small Steps

The words come easier when I don't try, so I won't. I'll have you know that they haven't come as easily lately. There have been nights in the past over the summer when they came pouring at my fingertips as I laid half asleep in my bed switching between consciousness...yeah they came out just like that in sweet, beautiful atramentous flow. But for whatever reason, the words aren't there anymore--at least not for the moment.

I am thankful for everything that has taken place lately. Never had I once figured in a million years I would end up where I have. I don't know what else to say. I feel great. Inspired. And for the first time, I have something. Or a someone, rather.
